Changes to my study programme

Hello everyone, in this blog I will write about changes I would like to make in my career.

Regarding the curriculum, I would change those subjects with a very industrial and economic focus. I would incorporate a more social and environmental approach, which would provide solutions to the problems of the same type that exist today. For example, the conflicts of communities with companies in "sacrifice zones".

Regarding the academic load and weekly study hours, I believe that these could be more limited. In addition, I believe that evaluations should be between 9:00 and 11:00, which is the time when we are most active (at least more than at 15:00, for example). I think our learning would be greater.

Regarding the infrastructure of the faculty, I think it is barely sufficient. There is a need for computer rooms with good computers, for example. 

Regarding the facilities provided by the faculty, I think there is a lack of practice sites on campus. Such as open nurseries where plants can be propagated and experience can be gained. Or reforestation trial areas where different planting methods can be tested. All of these practices and many others would be of great help to our professional development.

Teaching methods must be the most questionable issue at the university, since most of the professors are people specialized in their area, but who do not have the pedagogical skills to be able to transmit everything they know. This causes great problems in student learning.
